February 2022 – September 2022 – Our Senior Sales Co-Ordinatior, Louise, virtually walked the length of the UK. This equates to 1,734km, the distance from Lands End to John O’Groats.
For every 20% walked, Louise saved 10 bottles from going into the ocean. Louise completed this virtual walk, meaning she saved 50 bottles from polluting our ocean.
Virtual walk was set up through Conqueror Challenges.

Restless Development

February 2023 – We partnered with international development charity Restless Development who challenged us to ‘Rest Less Go Further’ during February. We set out to walk and run further than we would usually, creating healthy habits and choosing a climate friendly way of getting around.
As a team, we pushed ourselves and walked / ran a total of 643km – this is the equivalent to if we’d walked from our offices in Leatherhead to the COP26 conference in Glasgow!
So far, we have raised £40 which could cover the printing and distribution of resource packs for 42 children in Uganda to teach them about the impacts of climate change.
Restless Development is a global non-profit agency that supports young people to lead change in their communities. Young people make up over half of the world’s population yet are often overlooked when it comes to solving some of the world’s biggest issues. Whether its ending child marriage, the youth unemployment crisis, or tackling climate change, Restless Development provides young people with the training and resources they need to become leaders in solving these issues to improve their lives and the lives of those in their communities.

Eden Reforestation Project

April 2023 – Our Sales & Marketing Director, Paul, took on the Surrey Three Peaks Challenge raising money to plant trees through the Eden Reforestation Projects. Eden employs to plant. This means, Eden will plant trees and employ people with fair wages with Paul’s fundraising money. The Surrey Three Peaks Challenge is a 37km round trip route.
Paul has raised £650 which will help to plant 4,333 trees. There is still time to donate to Paul on our Just Giving page.

Giving World

May 2023 – We donated surplus stock of Firebrand branded giveaways and samples of products that have now been discontinued to Giving World. We chose Giving World as they help families in need and help to stop products from reaching landfill by giving them a second life.

Restless Development

July 2023 – We ran a virtual raffle to fundraise for Restless Development’s match-funding appeal. The appeal was fundraising for Youth for Climate Action. Climate change is an existential threat. Young people in Africa and Asia face its worth consequences despite contributing the least to it. Their work, education and futures are at risk. With support, training and resources, they can find a solution and secure their rightful claim to a safe planet.

Our raffle consisted of 16 prizes including 25 x Castelli Appeel Notebooks with the winner’s branding, 50 x Custom Designed Sports Socks with the winner’s branding, a Black+Blum lunch box and drinkware, Social Stories Club Gift Boxes, a hamper from The Chocolate Gift company, a Jack Wolfskin backpack and more. All of our prizes held multiple sustainable attributes. Through selling raffle tickets, we raised £200, which was match-funded by a philanthropist, taking it up to £400 for Restless Development. Thanks to everyone who took part.
