At Firebrand, we are proud to announce the completion of our 2023 EcoVadis assessment, where we have successfully attained the silver rating. While our efforts fell just shy of securing the gold rating in this year’s reassessment, we take great satisfaction in maintaining our strong overall score of 68/100. Rest assured, we remain steadfast in our commitment to enhancing our sustainability performance and will persist in our ongoing efforts.

Since our initial assessment in 2022, there have been some exciting developments in the EcoVadis medals criteria such as the introduction of a Platinum Badge. This has brought about shifts in the score thresholds for the badges. It’s important to understand that the changing criteria puts more emphasis on looking at our overall score rather than just the badge we achieved. Sustainability is a journey, and we recognize that it takes ongoing effort and commitment to make meaningful progress. We are committed to taking concrete actions that will help us improve our environmental, social, and ethical performance, and to engage with our stakeholders to build a more sustainable future. By doing so, we hope to not only meet our own sustainability goals, but to also contribute to a more sustainable and resilient world for future generations.

Since our 2022 assessment, we introduced our tree planting initiative, launched The Offset Collection, joined the United Nations Global Compact and have driven change within our own supply chain that is more sustainable and environmentally friendly. We are passionate about the progress we have made and will continue our sustainability journey as an environmentally and socially conscious organisation.

Looking to the future and what we are working on, we’re excited to launch our new CSR website page in May. We will also only show products with sustainable attributes on our website product feed. This will help clients to make an informed decision on the branded merchandise they order.

We’re also excited to take on more community initiatives, raising money for charity and giving something back to the planet.
