Types of environmentally friendly materials we can use for socks

GOTS organic cotton

For a sock to be able to call itself organic cotton sock, it must not have used any chemical pesticides, genetically modified seeds, or artificial fertilizers. Its production is supposed to promote and enhance biodiversity and biological cycles. Spun with care and comfort, it is softer, kind to your skin and so much gentler on the planet. Plus, if it’s not recycled its biodegradable, so create less waste going to landfill.

Upcycled cotton

Upcycled socks are created from premium upcycled yarn made of textile waste. No water, no dyes, zero waste. Plus, no toxins and no contamination.

Bamboo yarn

Bamboo fabric helps keep pleasantly dry feet thanks to the hollow structure of the fibers which make it super-absorbent. This means that the material effectively wicks moisture away from the skin. Bamboo is very breathable and far better in this respect than cotton or wool socks. Bamboo gives you a softer and more luxurious experience. Moreover, bacteria don’t like to live or grow on bamboo fiber, which makes our bamboo socks naturally antibacterial.

Packaging options for branded socks

We can offer various packaging solutions to complete your branded sock gift. This includes boxes, tins and compostable bags.

Our bespoke designed boxes are made from recycled board.

The tins are 100% recyclable. Theyare available in 2 standard heights and diameters with the option of adjusting the height of the tin. The tins include as standard a stylish ring pull lid.

The compostable bag is slightly milky in colour with a nice, sanitised touch. It is the most sustainable sock bag available. Once disposed of the bag will breakdown in approximately 8 weeks.

Sock essence

If your brand has an essence, this can be manipulated on your socks. Some customers prefer an ever-so-slight hint of an essence, whilst others like stronger flavour. Some flavours that have already been established are Mojito, Chocolate, Honey, Milk and Strawberries and Cream. However, the number of essences is limitless.
