KeepCup is an Australian company that specialises in making reusable coffee cups, bottles and travel mugs. The company was founded in 2007 with the mission to reduce the use of single-use cups, and to inspire reuse. At Firebrand, we share a passion surrounding sustainability and re-use with KeepCup, and that’s why we’re excited to offer Branded KeepCups to our customers.

Are branded KeepCups sustainable?

Yes! Branded KeepCups are sustainable. The KeepCup company itself is a B Corp and has been since 2014. They also donate 1% of its annual revenue to not-for-profits dedicated to protecting the environment. Plus, when you order branded KeepCups through Firebrand, we’ll plant 10 trees for every order over £500!

How many uses does a KeepCup need to replace single-use cups?

Using KeepCup’s Impact Calculator, we can see that by consuming just five takeaway coffees in a KeepCup each week, an individual can save five single-use cups weekly. This small change translates to significant environmental benefits, including a reduction of 0.18 kg of CO2 emissions, 0.02 kg of plastic waste, a saving of 4.74 MJ of energy, and the preservation of 0.11 kg of timber. The calculator effectively illustrates how choosing to use and reuse branded KeepCups can contribute to meaningful positive impacts on the environment.

Do KeepCups fit under a coffee machine?

KeepCups have the Barista Standard seal of approval. Barista Standard is a term used to describe a product that has been specifically made for coffee, and are of a higher quality than standard products. KeepCup is widely accepted and endorsed by the speciality coffee industry as the cups are designed carefully to consider a busy café environment. Whether the user wants an espresso or latte, there is a KeepCup size to match, with all of the KeepCup options able to fit under a coffee machine head. This excludes the 16oz Large sizes.

What size branded KeepCup should you purchase?

The size of your branded KeepCups should depend on your target demographic. Find out what your audience love to drink, and then purchase the cups with them in mind. For example, the 8oz is ideal for flat whites, whilst the 12oz is perfect for regular coffees or tea, and 16oz is great for iced coffee and smoothies.

How can we customise branded KeepCups?

We can get creative with your brand’s colourways, finding a close match to mix and match the lid, plug and band. Plus we can add your logo either to the cup, or to the band.

Which branded KeepCups are available?

We currently offer 5 of the best-selling KeepCup options. This includes the Brew, the Brew Cork, the Original Clear, the Original and the Camp Mug.

The KeepCup Brew – XS (6oz), S (8oz), M (12oz).

Available in 3 sizes – 6oz, 8oz and 12oz, the KeepCup Brew is made from tough, heat-resistant tempered glass containing 25% recycled material. It offers both heat and shock resistance, while the splashproof sipper lip ensures your brew stays secure. The shape of the cup allows it to be stacked in storage. This option fits in most car cup holders, is BPA/BPS-free, non-toxic and dishwasher safe. It can also be microwaved with the lid off.

The KeepCup Brew Cork – XS (6oz), S (8oz), M (12oz), L (16oz).

The KeepCup Brew Cork isn’t the first KeepCup, however it’s definitely the most iconic! Designed for everyday ease, this cup combines style with a simple, satisfying drinking experience. This cup is made with tough, tempered glass that is heat-resistant and shockproof, complimented by a 100% recovered cork band, for a comfortable grip. This option should be hand washed and not microwaved to maintain its quality.

The KeepCup Original Clear – S (8oz), M (12oz), L (16oz).

The original KeepCup! The essential companion for any coffee experience. Crafted for Barista Standard sips, this cup has a splashproof press-fit lid, and an iconic shape. This option has a vibrant, heat-resistant silicone band and is designed for easy carrying. It requires just 20 uses to surpass single-use waste! Like the other KeepCup options above, this cup fits neatly into most car cup holders. It’s also dishwasher safe and can be microwaved without the lid.

The KeepCup Original – XXS (4oz), S (8oz), M (12oz), L (16oz).

The KeepCup Original is pretty much the same as the Original Clear, however it has a solid colour body, perfect for brands with visually impactful branding. This option comes with the same sizes as the Original Clear, however a 4oz, XXS option is available too!

The KeepCup Camp Mug – M (12oz).

The Camp Mug is a popular style of mug that our customers are loving currently! This Camp Mug from KeepCup is crafted from high-quality 90% recycled stainless steel, ensuring premium insulation without comprising taste. It has a stackable design for storage and features double-wall insulation. The cup is complete with a spill-proof lid, made with 50% recycled Tritan. To maintain its surface finish, handwashing is recommended, while microwaving is not advised.
