Lanyards can now be made of virtually anything recyclable and sustainable.

It comes as a marketing message hung round a customer’s neck makes the lanyard one of the hottest promotional products around.

So going green was inevitable , says Andrew Bourne, head of Firebrand, who has added the new lanyards to the thousands of eco-friendly ideas in his promotional product range.

He sees this new collection of lanyards becoming a great success amongst companies wanting an eco option.

Made from bamboo, recycled cotton, crop stems, milk protein and plastic drink bottles, the new lanyards come in unbleached colour, or can be pantone matched.

Even the release clips and mobile phone attachment are made of 50% recyclable plastic.

The lanyards can be overprinted with a company logo or promotional message, making them an attractive choice for marketers wanting to keep a marketing idea in sight day in and day out.
